Using AI to build Rust mods: how we do it, and what it can't do
-
This board is for the part of modding people argue about, so here's where I stand.
I build my mods with a lot of help from AI, and the site says so openly. It is not a shortcut. There is no single prompt that makes a working mod. What it does is let one person finish the parts of a mod they couldn't do alone, and then everything gets tested: compiled against the current Rust build, gated on performance, load-tested with simulated players, and run on live servers before release.

Whether you use AI, avoid it, or think it's ruining modding, you're welcome here. Share what works, what doesn't, and how you test. Disclosing AI use on your own listings is welcome; it gets a badge and buyers decide.
