The author's original file, unmodified, fetched from GitHub on 2026-09-26 and served from here; hashed and its header read as a Rust map. 2 downloads here. Counts each time the file was served here; not unique people. The GitHub star count is theirs and is never added to it.
Using a custom map
Rust loads a custom map from a web address. Put the .map file on storage you control that serves a direct download link, then start the server with +server.levelurl "https://your-host/size2500.map" in place of the usual size and seed settings. Players download the map from that address when they join, so keep it online for the whole wipe. Please do not point levelurl at this site.
A map file holds terrain and prefab placements, not plugin code, so there is no code scan and nothing to compile. What was checked: the header reads as a Rust world file, the size is within the limit, and the SHA-256 below matches the file served here. Whether the map loads on the current Rust build is not tested here; try it on a throwaway server first.

Compare after you download: Get-FileHash .\file -Algorithm SHA256 on Windows, sha256sum file on Linux or Mac. A match means you got the file the creator listed. It does not mean the file is safe. How to check a mod.
